The Dave and Debbie Board have been reaching Asians for Christ since 1984 when they began reaching Cambodian refugees in Des Moines, Iowa. Since 1990 they have helped to win and train men and women to reach not only Southeast Asians but also various ethnic groups in the United States and southeast Asia.
This couple was invited to church as teenagers. The husband was reached through a neighborhood basketball outreach while the wife was invited by a her cousin, Debra Keo (see right). After graduating from West Coast Baptist College in 2000 and being on staff at Pacific Baptist Church for the last 10 years, God has called them to Southeast Asia as missionaries.
Touch and Debra came to the United States with their families when they were young. They were saved as teenager as a result of caring and loving American Christians. They have been working with and reaching the Cambodian people since 1996. Now God has opened the door for them to take the Gospel to the people in Cambodia.
Ge was born in Laos and is Hmong. he started to reach his people right after he got saved. He led many children and adults alike to Christ in the early 80's. After he was married, he and his wife, Heidi, went to North Carolina to pastor a Hmong church. In 2006, he and his family went to Thailand to start a Baptist church for the Hmong people in a refugee camp. Now he believes the Lord is calling them to go back to Thailand to reach his people. They are going to plant churches and train nationals to go out and reach their own people for Christ.
Bounna and Thy Has were saved at the age of fifteen and nine respectively and started attending church faithfully as young teenagers. In Bible college they both served in various ministries and departments, reaching Asian families for Christ. They have answered God's call to bring the gospel to Cambodia.
